Syracuse men’s rowing announced its 2025 schedule Thursday, which includes five meets over the two-month campaign.
The Orange open their season at the Pac-12 Invite from April 12-13 in Redwood Shores, California. SU will face Stanford, California and Brown in the Golden State. A week later, Syracuse will compete in Annapolis, Maryland, for the annual Goes and Stagg Trophy versus Navy and Cornell. SU has dominated the event recently, winning the past five editions.
Next, from April 26-27, SU will travel to Fairlee, Vermont, for the Lake Morey Invite to race Dartmouth, Boston University and Georgetown. It will attempt to retain the Packard and Conlan Cups, which are determined by the outcomes of its matchups against Dartmouth and BU.
The Orange will have three weeks to prepare for their penultimate race at the EARC Eastern Sprints, which will be held on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 18. Syracuse concludes its campaign two weeks later at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships in Cooper River, New Jersey.
Last season, SU recorded its fourth straight IRA Grand Finals appearance in the varsity 8, placing sixth overall. Additionally, the Orange placed seventh in the 2V8 and eighth in the 3V8. As a team, they finished the season tied for seventh in the Ten Eyck Points Trophy, their highest finish in 20 years.
