Syracuse-UConn game time set for 1 p.m. on CBS Sports Network

Syracuse last played Connecticut in 2012 at the Carrier Dome. The Orange stomped UConn, 40-10, in what proved to be Doug Marrone's final year as SU's head coach.
Syracuse and Connecticut are set to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sept. 24, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday.
The Orange (1-1, 0-1 ACC) plays South Florida this week before taking on the Huskies. UConn (1-1, 0-1 American Athletic) barely escaped against Maine, 24-21, in Week 1 and just narrowly lost, 28-24, to Navy on Saturday. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
UConn owns the all-time series, 3-6, and the Orange has never beaten the Huskies on the road. In the last meeting, however, Syracuse crushed Connecticut, 40-10, in 2012, former head coach Doug Marrone’s last season at Syracuse.
