Tiana Mangakahia named to 2019 ACC All-Tournament team

Syracuse junior point guard Tiana Mangakahia was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament team.
Mangakahia led the Orange (24-8, 11-5) with 17.4 points per game during the tournament, and broke the ACC tournament single-game assist record with 13 assists in SU’s win over No. 16 Miami. Her 26 points against the Hurricanes propelled Syracuse to a 92-85 third-round win, advancing to a fourth-round matchup with Notre Dame. In the Orange’s 91-66 loss to the Irish, Mangakahia had 14 points on 5-of-16 shooting.
The Orange await their NCAA tournament fate Monday, March 18 at the women’s NCAA Tournament selection show.
